Make sure the parental locks are secure on your televisions and extend them for another year. HBO has announced that Euphoria Season 2 is on the way.

Francesca Orsi, EVP of HBO Programming made the announcement. The full press release is available on HBO’s Medium PR site.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya. We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series. We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit,” Orsi said in a statement.

HBO reports that Euphoria features the network’s youngest skewing audience and has gained viewers every week for its first four weeks on all HBO digital platforms.

Euphoria began its eight-episode season on June 16 and quickly gained attention for its racy material that includes high school students experimenting with drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and more. The show is created and produced by Sam Levinson and is based on an Israeli program of the same name. It’s been described as the America’s answer to England’s Skins, only HBO-ified. Don’t take our word for it. Listen to King James.

Zendaya (Spider-Man: Far From Home) stars as 17-year-old Rue Bennett, who is fresh out of rehab and trying to make sense of her future. The cast also includes Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney. It is unknown which actors will return for Euphoria season 2. The first season’s finale is set to air on August 4.
